Installers and requirements
Choose the right Installer for your device
Mac installers vary by processor. Check yours in Apple menu › About This Mac.

Installation steps
Download, install, and sign in
Sign in once, then simply open the app.

Open the installer
Open the downloaded .dmg file.

Move to Applications
Drag the Chatto icon into your Applications folder.

Open Chatto and sign in
Opening Chatto launches your browser. Sign in with your dashboard account to return to the app.
Before you install
- Mac installers are distributed after Apple notarization.
- On Windows, installation is limited to your current user account and does not require administrator privileges.
- Sign in through your browser. Create a dashboard account first if you do not have one.
Release notes
The app lets you know when an update is ready
Start an update and the app will restart automatically after downloading and installing it.
Release notes will be available when the app launches.

Before you install

Windows installation uses your current user account without administrator privileges. Contact your IT team if company security policies block installation.
Sign in with the same dashboard account to access the same campaigns and brand data. No separate signup is needed.
No. The web agent and Chatto app have separate conversation lists and settings. Campaign data is shared.
Conversations with Chatto use chat credits from the same balance as the web agent. See the pricing page for plan allocations.
A bulk deployment installer is not currently available. Contact us if you need to install it across your team.
